Kenneth A. Rowe Ambassador of Aviation Award

ELIGIBILITY

The Kenneth A. Rowe Ambassador of Aviation Award is open to any director of a state aviation agency.  Nominations must be made by a state aviation director or the NASAO Washington staff.

Previous nominees may be renominated provided they still meet the eligibility requirements and their nominations are updated to include their latest achievements. (for more information)

State Aviation Distinguished Service Award

ELIGIBILITY

The State Aviation Distinguished Service Award is open to any employee of a state aviation agency, excluding the director or acting director.  Nominees must have been employed by the state aviation agency during current nomination year.

Previous nominees may be renominated provided they still meet the eligibility requirements and their nominations are updated to include their latest achievements. (for more information)

Most Innovative State Program Award

ELIGIBILITY

The NASAO Most Innovative State Program Award is open to any state aviation agency that has developed, or has contracted for the development of, an original aviation program, project, or activity.

The program should contribute to the quality of service in the aviation community and/or the general public.  The program should be currently underway or recently completed and have reportable results. (for more information)

National Award of Excellence

ELIGIBILITY

Any nationally recognized individual or group not employed by the States or NASAO.

Each state and the NASAO Washington office are eligible to nominate a candidate for the honor.  Also, members of the general public are encouraged to suggest potential nominees to their state aviation director.  However, either a state aviation director or the Washington office must make the actual nomination.

All State Directors are encouraged to submit nominations.

Center Aviation Education Program Award

ELIGIBILITY

The NASAO Center Aviation Education Program Award is open to any state aviation agency that has developed, or has contracted for the development of, an original aviation education program. (for more information)

National Journalism Award

ELIGIBILITY

The NASAO National Journalism Award is open to an individual writer, editor, or producer or entire news organization such as a magazine, newspaper, radio, or television news program/network.  Nominations must be made by a state aviation director or the NASAO Washington staff.
