OKLAHOMA GOVERNOR SIGNS BILL FOR EXTENDING AEROSPACE INDUSTRY TAX CREDITS

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed a new bill that extends tax incentives in the aerospace industry until 2018. Fallin mentioned that the aerospace engineer tax credit has helped create hundreds of new jobs, and plays an important role in maintaining Oklahoma’s position as an internationally recognized hub for aerospace business. This bill enables new aerospace engineers to receive anywhere up to $5,000 in state tax credits.

NASAO holds two formal conferences each year – our Annual Convention and Trade Show, typically held in September and a Washington Legislative Conference held in the nation’s Capital during the February/March timeframe. NASAO also has a presence at EAA’s AirVenture, held each year in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in late July.
