912On Sunday, August 3rd, the final day of EAA AirVenture 2014 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, a ceremony was held at the Memorial Wall on the EAA grounds, paying tribute to those who are no longer with us. The ceremony began with a welcome, prayer and moment of silence, and followed up with a recital of the 2014 inductees by EAA Chairman Jack Pelton. The service also included the missing man formation, an aerial salute of aircraft that flew over during the ceremony. Former NASAO President and CEO, Henry Orodzinski was among the inductees named on the Memorial Wall for 2014. Before and after the ceremony many friends and family members took the opportunity to take rubbings of the individual names on the wall using special paper provided at the service.

The states first established NASAO to ensure uniformity of safety measures, to standardize airport regulations and develop a truly national air transportation system responsive to local, state, and regional needs.
