New Speakers Confirmed for Washington Conference

FAA and AUVSI to Cover Aviation Fuel Tax and UAS Integration
Randall Fiertz, Director, Airport Compliance and Management Analysis with the FAA and Brian Wynne, President and CEO of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, have both confirmed their participation in NASAO’s upcoming Washington Conference to be held in Washington D.C. on February 25th – 27th.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear the latest on the aviation fuel tax revenue issue and to be able to ask questions and discuss the impacts the FAA policy will have on the states. This will also be a great opportunity to hear the latest on the demand for greater UAS operations and the FAA’s efforts to safely integrate UAS into the national air space.
This will also be a great opportunity to meet the new head of AUVSI as Brian Wynne has succeeded Michael Toscano who retired on January 12, 2015.
Your NASAO staff is continuing to put together a great conference and will keep you posted on the latest speaker confirmations and session topics as they become available. Please contact Kim Stevens at 703-610-0223 or if you have any questions.

NASAO is one of the most senior aviation organizations in the United States, predating even the Federal Aviation Administration’s predecessor, the Civil Aeronautics Authority. The states first established NASAO to ensure uniformity of safety measures, to standardize airport regulations and develop a truly national air transportation system responsive to local, state, and regional needs. NASAO holds two formal conferences each year – our Annual Convention and Trade Show, typically held in September and a Washington Legislative Conference held in the nation’s Capital during the February/March timeframe. NASAO also has a presence at EAA’s AirVenture, held each year in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in late July.
