APTech Announces New President

Applied Pavement Technology, Inc. (APTech) announced that on January 1, 2017, Katie Zimmerman turned over the day-to-day responsibilities as President to Monty Wade. After founding the company and serving 21 years as the torchbearer, Zimmerman nurtured and mentored a new generation of leaders – led by Wade – to take on the challenges of the future.

Zimmerman will stay on with the company as Executive Vice President and looks forward to continuing to help the company serve its clients. “I’m excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for APTech in all phases of our work,” said Zimmerman.

In her new role, Zimmerman will be focusing on strategic initiatives, while continuing to lead APTech’s efforts in asset management. She will also continue to serve as CEO and Chair of APTech’s Board of Directors.

Wade joined APTech 19 years ago and most recently served as Program Director for Commercial Aviation and Department of Defense projects. He has 24 years of experience as a pavement engineer working on every type of project the company is involved with.
