THIS IS THE CENTER FOR AVIATION RESEARCH AND EDUCATION |
| The NASAO
Center for Aviation Research and Education
is a non-profit, affiliate
organization of National Association of State Aviation
Officials, which seeks to improve the states' role in the
future of the national air transportation system. The
NASAO Center was created through a unanimously accepted
motion by the NASAO Board of Directors at NASAO's Annual
Meeting held in Newport, Rhode Island, September 1986. Through this research arm, the states and the NASAO organization are provided with a more responsive framework to address the future demands created by a changing aviation environment. The NASAO Center is assuming a leading role in the development and implementation of new technology to serve growing aviation requirements. The NASAO Center's primary objective is to enhance the general public good through an expanded and increasingly safe air transportation system. To achieve this goal, the NASAO Center is involved in all phases of the aviation industry by conducting research; holding seminars, and conferences; publishing proceedings, books, working papers and policy papers. It also provides management training and technical assistance to all levels of government and the aviation industry. The NASAO Center's Motto is "Progress through Aviation." |
